Meet the team! Dr Nathalia Araujo

Dr Nathalia Araujo graduated in 2001 in Brazil where she worked as a general practitioner until 2008. In this period she worked in different states of Brazil, mainly in private practices covering all aspects of Dentistry. In addition she took on the challenge of living in the Amazon Forest for over a year together with her husband Leo where they experienced delivering high quality dentistry to indigenous communities.

Dr. Araujo’s Vision is Changing people’s lives through their smile. Providing health, confidence and security through very high standards and passionate holistic dental care.

In 2008 Dr Araujo got her Diploma recognized by the Australian Dental Council and in 2009 she moved to Australia.

Firstly to Tasmania where she worked as an associate Dentist at Winning Smiles Dental Care, a well-known family practice in Burnie, owned by Dr Wayne Martin a personal friend. In addition she has also worked on the beautiful west coast of Tasmania during that time where she assisted this entire community with all their dental needs. After working in Tassie for 15 months Nathalia and Leo decided it was time to move up to the Sunshine Coast for the beautiful climate and lifestyle. It was after working as an associate dentist in a private practice in Noosa for more than a year, that together with her husband Leo; they purchased Mountain Top Dental in beautiful Buderim. In addition to this, Nathalia has worked with Mobile Dentistry group visiting and delivering mobile dental services to

several aged care facilities on the Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane area
Dr Araujo\’s interest lies with the more holistic approaches to improve both dental and the general health of patients. Dr Araujo is always updating her skills by attending courses in diverse areas of dentistry. Being a general practitioner she believes that the whole health of an individual needs to be considered to attain success in dental treatment. In addition, Dr Araujo is comfortable and dedicated to providing gentle care to all age groups.
